Refund Policy
1Scope
This policy applies to all purchases made directly on motoeditor.com — the quarterly and annual subscriptions. It supplements our Terms of Service and applicable French consumer-protection law. MotoEditor does not sell tokens, credits, ready-made maps, or individual file downloads; access is provided through an active plan.
2Your 7-day money-back guarantee
We want you to be able to try the editor with confidence. You may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days as set out below, provided you have not yet taken the deliverable — that is, you have not exported a modified BIN file from the editor. Exporting an edited firmware file is treated as having received the benefit of the Service, and makes the purchase non-refundable.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (via PayPal) within 5–10 business days.
3How to request a refund
- Sign in to your MotoEditor account.
- Open a ticket in the Support area and tell us you would like a refund.
If you cannot access your account, email [email protected] with the email address on the order and the approximate purchase date.
4Legal notes for EU consumers
- Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code and Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not apply once digital content or a digital service is supplied “with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.”
- At checkout we therefore ask you to confirm that you (i) want immediate access to the editor and definition library, and (ii) understand that this waives the statutory withdrawal right.
- The 7-day, no-export refund above is granted voluntarily by MotoEditor as an extra-statutory benefit, in addition to any mandatory rights you retain under local law.
5Partial refunds & pro-rata
Because access is delivered instantly and in full, partial or pro-rata refunds are not available — including for the unused remainder of a quarterly or annual subscription after the 7-day window has passed.
6Chargebacks
Please contact us first — we aim to resolve refund requests quickly. Opening a payment dispute or chargeback before completing our refund process may result in immediate suspension of your account until the dispute is resolved.
7Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory changes or adjustments to our plans. Material changes will be announced at least thirty (30) days in advance; continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
