Safe Calibration Workflow

Fast, safe tuning isn't about big changes — it's about a repeatable process. Follow the same steps every time and problems show up while they're still small.

Five habits

1. Always keep a stock backup. The untouched read is your reset button.
2. Change one thing at a time. If you move fuel and timing at once, you can't tell which helped.
3. Small steps. A few percent, verify, repeat — rather than a big jump you can't judge.
4. Compare to stock. Keep the factory calibration in view so you always know how far you've strayed.
5. Verify before you trust it. Data-log or dyno each change; listen for knock; watch temperatures and lambda.
